From CourierPostOnline.com:
Australian rock band Silverchair returns to the U.S. Saturday at the Fillmore at the TLA.
The show starts at 8 p.m. and features hits from “Young Modern,” the band’s first album with new material in five years. The double-platinum release highlights the lead track “Straight Lines,” the group’s biggest hit since their 1995 breakthrough “Tomorrow.” The new album is the follow up to 2002’s “Diorama” and combines indie rock with eclectic pop. Beach Boys collaborator Van Dyke Parks penned orchestrations for three songs on the album, which were recorded in Prague with an 80-piece orchestra.
