An interesting series in which members of four groups – the Saints, the Triffids, Crowded House and Silverchair – talk about a key album in their career. First comes Daniel Johns, songwriter, singer and guitarist with Silverchair, who tells how the first album, Frogstomp, was about teenagers, the second, Freak Show, was about anger and the third, Neon Ballroom, dealt with depression. Then came the enormous success of Diorama, which Johns wrote after emerging from a debilitating illness and which he regards as the group’s detox album.
