this weekend, then why not head over to the OzFlix: Australian Film Weekend. In addition to a short documentary of Silverchair, you can also be entertained by a documentary on Crowded House, a look behind the Sydney Theater Company, rugby drama, and other Australian and Aboriginal films. For the low cost of $40 for the entire weekends worth of entertainment, it surely should be on your agenda.

BDO Interview
Video Hits has a two part interview with the band from The Big Day Out. There doesn’t seem to be a direct link to the videos, but on the left side of the screen (directly under the screen) there’s a list of categories. Click on interviews, then on Nathan and the ‘Chair videos should be on the fifth column down.
The ‘Chair Speaks about Reconciliation
The Paul Mac & Daniel Johns Myspace Team posted a public service commercial about Reconciliation that Silverchair recorded. You can watch it here.
P.S. According to Chairpage, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is scheduled to issue a former apology to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians who were removed from their families and communities as children.
It’s great to see that thanks to the reconcile movement, the issue is finally getting the attention it deserves.
